Angiology
Angiology is the medical speciality dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients suffering from peripheral vascular disorders involving the arteries (the vessels which transport blood to all parts of the body), the veins (which bring blood from everywhere in the body to the heart), the lymphatic system (which drains lymph into the veins and forms a sub-network of the venous system) or microscopic vessels.
